The UCI confirms that the Licenses Commission has awarded, in advance of the designated date and after examining its file, a “Wild Card” label to the American team BMC Racing Team, which has been invited to participate in the Tour Down Under by the organisers of the Australian event.
Other requests to obtain a “Wild Card” label will be assessed according to the regulations at the beginning of February.
